Dateline Naples, FL - Week of March 28, 2010

Another week at our Naples, FL home. We had Alan's youngest daughter Anita and her family here for the first two days of last week. They flew home Monday evening. For the rest of the week we had our house to ourselves. Nice to get some time together. I spent most of my time working on partnership matters and starting to schedule our fall and winter 2011 seminars. This is a huge job and it will take me until the end of May to get it locked down. But there was still time for relaxing, our daily exercise walk and dinner at our favorite restaurant on Saturday night.

Monday and Tuesday of this week we'll be packing getting ready to fly home Tuesday evening. Then we have three days to clear off our desks and pack for a month. We head to Barcelona Spain next Saturday to board the SS Regatta for a 10 day cruise of the Western Mediterranean. We're both looking forward to a new experience.

Dateline Naples, FL - Week of March 21 2010

Winter is over for Nancy and me. I started last week in Naples with Nancy and my youngest daughter and her family. Great to have the grandkids with us. They had a great time in our pool. Wednesday I took time out to fly to Bermuda to teach there on Thursday and Friday. Flew back on Saturday.

This week we have two days with Anita and her family. Then Nancy and I have our winter home to ourselves. I am in cleanup mode getting ready for a busy spring and fall teaching calendar. But there will still be time to enjoy the southwest coast of Florida in the spring.

Dateline Naples, FL - Week of March 14, 2010

Started last week in Whitehorse on Monday and then flew home on Tuesday. Chaired a technology conference on Wednesday and Thursday. It was great to work with two of my partners. Friday I delivered a keynote speech at the CGA Controller's conference.

Winter is officially over for me today. Flew to our Florida home and will spend the rest of March there. Have to fly to Bermuda on Wednesday to teach two Excel courses there Thursday and Friday. In between I'll be spending time with my #4 daughter Anita and her family. Should have a great time.

Dateline Whitehorse, YK - Week of March 7, 2010

Easy week again last week. I must be doing something right. Spent the first three days at our Naples winter home working on partnership stuff. Nancy and I flew home Wednesday night. Thursday I got my first look at SAI which is Simply Accounting's new report writer. Impressive. In the evening I flew to Calgary and taught an Excel seminar there on Friday. Spent the weekend in Calgary.

I start this week in Whitehorse in the Yukon. Teaching a seminar there for the CAs, CGAs and CMAs on Monday. Then it's back to Toronto on Tuesday. Chairing a technology conference on Wednesday and Thursday and then delivering a keynote speech at the CGA Controller's conference on Friday. A week today I'm back at our Naples home.
